"A federal bankruptcy judge has ordered court documents containing the names and addresses of thousands of current and former Jefferson County employees listed in the county's bankruptcy case be removed from public view.
Thomas B. Bennett, chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge for the Northern District of Alabama, late Friday afternoon issued an interim order directing the bankruptcy court clerk to restrict the documents from being viewed by the public."
