The Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) catalogues personal and statistical data on various parts of the federal government. For a fee, you can query their database on a host of topics. The federal judicial section of the database allows the user to research by case topic or specific judge to uncover the range and number of cases handled, their outcomes, average sentence imposed in criminal cases and the length of trials.

TRAC describes the "federal staffing" section of its database:
